Course objectives:
To teach the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to operators of industrial forklift trucks.
Who should attend this course:
Delegates with no previous or limited experience on the machine type in question.
Course duration:
This course is typically between 3 and 5 days dependent on the number of trainees attending the course. ITSSAR accredited courses for lift trucks are strictly a maximum of 3 delegates to one instructor on one machine to ensure the training meets the Approved Code of Practice L117.
Course objectives:
To further enhance the experience and to teach basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to existing experienced operators of lift trucks who have had no formal training.
Who should attend this course:
Existing experienced operators who use the lift truck type in question on a regular basis (this course will include a brief informal assessment to ensure suitability to the course).
Course duration:
This course is typically between 2 and 3 days dependent upon the numbers of delegates attending the course. ITSSAR accredited courses for lift trucks are strictly a maximum of 3 delegates to one instructor and one machine to ensure the training meets the training ratios laid out in the Approved Code of Practice L117.
Course objectives:
To teach refresher training and update the basic skill requirements and associated job safety knowledge to existing certificated operators of industrial lift trucks.
Who should attend this course:
